Many people focus on power, suspension or tires trying to find that extra bit of time or grip or whatever it is they are looking for. But somehow people overlook the addition of a quality differential. Over the last year this is something that I wished I would have upgraded years ago. When I added my OS Giken front and rear differentials to my STI I didn’t realize the value they would then add without the issues that so many other differentials bring to the table.
Here is a comparison of the OS Giken rear differential vs the stock STI differential. OS Giken will tune the differentials to your liking prior to shipping them to you which is unlike other manufacturers. This really helps quicken the installation process. OS Giken offers a Front and Rear differential set for the STI. Continue reading

A comparison of Global Time Attack Super Laps from 2013-2016
An evolution of speed what a great team can accomplish.
The event was rather unusual for Southern California, as we showed up and unpacked the car it began to rain. This instantly began to dampen (pun intended) our hopes. We headed to Willow Springs Raceway to attempt to break the long standing GST Motorsports AWD Time Attack record of 1:19.397. The last time we were at Big Willow we were able to break the long standing record from another legendary Subaru Time Attack driver, JC Meynet in Modified AWD.
Even though the weather wasn’t in our favor we decided to go out and see what we could accomplish. The first thing we noticed was that grip was way down on the track, Continue reading
Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle is the largest Time Attack event of the year, with the biggest and best teams from all across North America showing up in order prove who is the fastest. I have been participating in the event every year since 2012.
Since then, the car has changed immensely through the support of people such as my wife Rachel, Paul Leung of Yimi Sport, Gil Martin, Ken Kasitz, Rami E., Rob Campbell, Oscar Huicochea, Aaron Gillis, Mike Jager, Nick Holloway and many more. Continue reading
Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle 2016 is promising to be an epic battle of the fastest cars and drivers in North America. Take a look at what we are bringing to the battle.
Just 6 short days after The Speed Ring event we had Global Time Attack Pro Am at Willow Springs International Raceway. This being our home track was definitely beneficial although as the car performed so well at the previous event all we did was pack it into the trailer and then unpack it at Willow Springs minus a quick suspension setup change and a new CV boot on a rear axle.

I’ll start by saying that this event seemed to come out of nowhere, we already had a jammed packed 30 day span with Redline Time Attack at the end of July then 86fest/Global Time Attack at the beginning of August and Global Time Attack at the end of August. Then all of a sudden here comes Speed Ring smack dab in the middle of it all, but we decided why the hell not! Now our plans didn’t go as well as we thought to start missing both Redline Time Attack and 86Fest due to upgrades we decided were far too important to wait on. But it all seemed to come together just in time for the Speed Ring event finishing up on the Dyno and final preparations just before midnight on the Friday before which is remarkable timing!
As many of you may know major heat comes to SoCal and it was in full effect as we looked ahead for this event at Buttonwillow Raceway. The forecast showed 108 degree weather with a high chance of heat stroke. But this did not deter us, rather it gave us the chance to show that our car and crew can handle some of the toughest conditions racing has to offer.
A few short weeks after our recent trip to Road Atlanta we headed to Redline Time Attack at Streets of Willow. Luckily for us this event took place in our own backyard. We had to opt out of the practice day in order to prep the car for the bumps and bruises that Streets has to offer. Much like actual streets, the course has a multitude of bumps, dips, and other treacherous obstacles to avoid.
