The team and I were able to get out to the track on Sunday and complete the first round of testing on the car.
With many new items ranging from the complete motor rebuild featuring Scat Crankshaft and rods, JE Pistons, Supertech Valvetrain, GSC Camshafts, Killer B Motorsports pan and pickup, ACL Race bearing and Orbit Oil pump, SoCal porting headwork, Outfront Motorsports Closed Deck Block. Then the entire turbo system was changed utilizing a Borg Warner EFR7163 with a Full-Race Motorsports manifold and uppipe as well as a new larger intercooler and of course with a Mil-Spec 100 cell catalytic converter to be street class legal.
On the suspension, brakes and wheels front much was changed as well going to Rays Gram Light 57 Xtreme wheels, AP Racing Big Brake kit utilizing Project Mu racing pads, GTSpec Subframe brace and rear trailing arms and a face lift on the front end to accommodate for many of the other items involved.
The entire car needed to be meticulously gone over and tested. Overall the car performed beautifully with no major issues and was driven to and from the track. Now we set our focus on preparation for Round #2 of Redline Time Attack at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway this coming weekend.
